“OVERSIZE PLUS” SERIES
The DS1800/450C model is the largest moving column machining center currently in production at Trevisan Macchine Utensili S.p.A.
TURNING, DRILLING, MILLING, BI-ROTARY AND SPECIAL HEADS
It is a large machine composed of two mobile columns, one equipped with a facing head with a diameter of 1800 mm and a stroke of 460 mm, which allows turning with the fixed workpiece up to 3000 mm in diameter. The other column is equipped with a square RAM measuring 560 x 490 mm with a stroke of 1400 mm.
The turning device is designed with 2 tool-holder attachments with a diameter of 360 mm that can hold a weight of 350 Kg and a length of 1800 mm, these turning heads are automatically loaded by a linear manipulator that is fed by a 16-position rack/head magazine.
The RAM is designed to support operating heads such as 600 mm or 300 mm diameter facing heads, high speed drilling heads, high torque milling heads, bi-rotary heads, or other special heads.
TOOL MAGAZINE
The RAM is equipped with a dedicated tool changer magazine with 99 places to accommodate the accessories that are mounted on the RAM.
TABLES
The machine can be equipped with one or two tables mounted on a basement with longitudinal Z working axis; the tables are hydrostatic with dimensions of 3000 x 3000 mm, a maximum load capacity of 40 tons, and rotation encumbrance 5000 mm.
SOFTWARE
Trevisan is organized with a team of computer technicians who create the software for the machines and customize it according to the machining needs of each customer.
